Julie has been at the forefront of cutting edge qualitative research since she began her research career in 1993.
Her interest in creative techniques and methodologies has seen her pioneer new approaches as well as shaking up traditional methodologies. When it comes to new thinking in Qualitative her motto is that the possibilities are limitless.
She has an innate talent in getting people to talk to her and always works hard to ensure a dynamic and fun research process. She is equally at home talking to consumers about washing powder as she is about sensitive health issues or talking to top level business and medical people.
Her career has been split across the UK and Ireland, having started in a boutique qualitative agency in Edinburgh then moving on to larger agency life in Dublin. Ten years on, with an Irish husband and two kids, Julie still has her Scottish accent but her friends back home thinks she sounds Irish!
Her enthusiasm for qualitative research is evident across all aspects of her work. Key specialties include advertising and creative development, NPD and brand strategy.
